I've made 4 batches so far. My Mom is visiting from Philadelphia and brought a box for side-by-side comparison. These are VERY close. Here are some notes from my experience: - I used canola oil instead of coconut oil. It worked fine, as I'm sure any vegetable oil would. I don't think I'd use more butter as I think they'd end up tasting buttery.
That worked fine. These also came out well, but were softer. This started right about the time I replenished my flour and switched from Gold Medal to King Arthur.
