Can i brag about my lord

In this version, released on Facebook, Andy and Solomon must have done a bunch of live takes. The one we see here is the final one. Welcome to our weekly episode of Rapzilla. We endeavor to grab the best stories from the previous week and give them to you every Tuesday. The truth is yelling at us everywhere we look, all the time […].

Chad Horton. Tags brag Trip Lee. I want them to know that He is holy! Join me in praising the King of Kings. So true T Lee that we should brag on the Lord Jesus! He is so worthy to be praised.

If we really humble ourselves and take stock of what's in us we have no choice but to concede that God is our everything and just to bask in His glory! Maintain and Elevate as always! Props to Reach Records for putting out music that continues exalting Jesus and encouraging others to do so.

Any option available for those of us without iTunes? Like Amazon MP3? Man, this checked me real good. I know that we have to fight pride and defer any praise to God!

He deserves it. Thanks Trip! Amazing, i praise God for such amazing teachers and men of God of todays darkened times, all glory to God! Go annd brag on em Trip!! I think KB's "I Can't play the background" explains everything. We are always boasting on what we are not. God not only created us, but saved us by his grace. Amen, we can only 'Brag on our Lord'. Does anyone know what he says from to ???

Glory to God! Whenever I have the opportunity to preach about how God has delivered me from sin I find that the devil will try to attack me shortly after. The wonderful grace of God and his ways of keeping us humble like a child.

I will pray that you and all the boys of can remain humble like children. Keep on the narrow way and God Bless. What does stand for? Hey Duprice T, refers to the book of Romans that talks about being unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus. This is so true! The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.

And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring. This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering— I must go on boasting.

Though there is nothing to be gained by it, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows.

And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter. On behalf of this man I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master's crib, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.

They have forsaken the Lord , they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged. Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! And he believed the Lord , and he counted it to him as righteousness. Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness.

Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles, lest the Lord see it and be displeased, and turn away his anger from him. There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment. Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan peace have joy.

No ill befalls the righteous, but the wicked are filled with trouble. A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. W hen we are little, we are taught not to brag. But more importantly, because it is a symptom of pride. It is a call for people to admire me as much as I admire me. By teaching us not to brag, our parents taught us to not always seek praise for ourselves.

Bragging can also show a misplaced value in something. When we boast about something, we do so because we think it is valuable and therefore worth boasting about. As adults, we can be subtler in our boasting than children, but we, nonetheless, are proud in places where we should be humble. Despite the efforts of our parents, Paul tells us that there is, in fact, a condition under which we can brag or boast : we can boast if we boast in the Lord.

Instead of drawing attention to ourselves, we draw attention to Christ. This boasting is a call for people to admire him as much as we admire him. It shows how much we value Christ—he is our best quality. Boasting in the Lord is actually quite hard for us to do.
