In Fact, it was designed to do so. The more colour range between white and yellow gives you better visibility both as headlights and tail lights in the darkest of hours at night for better over front view. These mini bulbs have the convenience of being small in size yet have the efficiency of performance. In the time of panic, the difference of seconds can result in grave danger and safety. Keeping that in mind k delivers the view over all degrees. It can be used both in front and back.
Yet it will be able to cover the opposite sides too. As mentioned earlier, it has degrees. So, without the pairs being led the active ones will give you enough light to make your way through the front, take a turn, change lanes and park.
The light that is too bright may be good enough for you, but it can be a huge distraction for others on the road behind steering wheels.
It can cause blind shock that will eventually result in a panic over losing control over the break. Thus, like a chain reaction, it can spread across the road, causing damage or, worse, robbing lives. The lights are just enough for your vehicle to be spotted from a fair distance without overdoing the job.
So, if you want a refined, more modified version go for k. These lights are higher in led temperature which gives them a bluish light effect. It can be used off-road, unlike k. The ice-cool white effect can easily mix and camouflage with the snowfall, dense fog, and rainfall. I do or Like the bright white light. I had 35w k prolumens from bavtoys on my last car, loved them. However when I do my upgrade soon for my e46 I will be going k 35w.
Why well I just want a more pure white look. My old kit was bright white with a slight purple tint to it. You can buy my NEW book here! Do you guys really understand where the blue and purple tints should really be coming from? They should be caused by a quality projector, not the bulb. The blue and purples you see come from what is called "flicker".

Suttoo has brought the wattage to my attention. Thanks, Sean. I've always gone with K. It's the best trade-off between color and output IMO. I don't give a damn what my low beam light looks like from the outside of the car, just what light it puts on the ground. Looks almost like a cleaner halogen light.
The k at 55w is a pure white with a slight hint of blue - it's a little hard on the eyes when it comes to long, freeway night driving as the reflections on road signs give back a LOT of glare.
Look cool though. Your decision really should be on your driving habits. If you find yourself on the highway a lot of driving A LOT at night, the kk range is best at 55w.
Am I right? Yes, that is the best thing. The cutoff color can be seen very well when done right, and that color is pretty. Not the fake off-white blue color emitted from high-K bulbs. September 4th, , PM. Stick with k FTW. September 5th, , PM. What about going from 35w to 55w? Say 55w k? I would go with k 50w FTW. That's what I was thinking.
