Go find some others that are like him and dont kill them.. Find the ones that wish to give you a hug They crawl towards you. Let them hug you. DONT hit back. Heal after each hug.
Run away after hugging is over and WAIT. Use the item he gives you at start of convo to.. You will still miss out on 2 of the Pyromancy spells though that only Laurentius sells but you'll have access to everything else.

However, if you don't give too many facks about what you invest your stats in, I think if you have like 10 int don't quote me on that, not sure how much int is needed then you can talk to eingi and he'll give you a pyromancy flame and upgrade it if you are a part of the chaos servants and have grown an egghead he will cure it for you as well.

He has no Poise and his regular attacks are easy to block. Fire resistance may be useful in case he does manage to land a lucky fireball or two. Laurentius can also upgrade Pyromancy Flames in exchange for souls. Are you mad! I owe my life to you!

Okay, so i freed Laurentius from his barrel, didint actually speak to him and kept going along my way until i got to Anor Londo. Decided i wanted some pyromancy, so i go to firelink shrine and hes not there, went back to where i first found him in the barrel and hes not there either.
Any idea where hes at now? I never spoke to him to send him to firelink shrine nor did i have the conversation about pyromancy with him to send him to blighttown and i cant seem to find anything online about it.
